Yeah, it's advance reorders. They're ordering based on the assumption they'll sell. So since CW2 #3 is going to be a special midnight release, stores might want to hold a midnight release party and order a lot of them.

It means their initial preorder numbers were lower than apparent demand (based on what their customers are saying and maybe how earlier books in the same line have been doing). Without knowing where the initial sales were it's hard to take too much from it beyond higher on the list meaning the issue is in demand.

Shop orders, yes, but it means that their initial orders were a bit low and they had to order more to meet demands.
CW2 #3 is getting a midnight release so shops may get more to accommodate for it, shops may have used Grayson to make Nightwing orders but didn't realize more people wanted to check him out as Nightwing again, etc.

Like Flash and Wonder Woman are probably competing on the same level since people know how much Tec, Batman, Superman, and Action will sell and Aquaman isn't in the same tier without Johns. But Wonder Woman had more reorders for last month cause shops may have anticipated Flash being popular thanks to the show and the possibility of Wally, but Batman still ended up being the best seller of the year so far.

But without knowing what the orders were before, it's a bit pointless.

Calling them Rebirth #1 and having #1s were good financial decisions apparently but are somewhat confusing.

Titans #1 comes out in July.
