Bought it the first day and read the whole thing in one sitting that night because I was so immersed. It's very pretty.
The protagonist doesn't really have a completed character arc, and you could argue she "cheats" her way to a happy ending, but O'Malley himself was detached when he was finishing up the story. There's so much of his personal life jammed into the subtext, the happy ending makes me feel sad because it comes across as what Bryan thinks all people deserve to have love, even as he's undergoing a brutal divorce with a woman he's loved for years, and slowly revealed herself to be a bitch using an sjw agenda as an excuse to ruin Bryan's life.
Bryan Lee O'Malley is an overrated hack.
His wife is really cute though.

From what little's been revealed on his blog, apparently she wanted to try an "open relationship", which basically translated to her fucking a dozen dudes while Bryan worked. There was also the matter that, since she also makes graphic novel/comics, she was relying on Bryan's name to push her own mediocre work (although her art's not bad), but he didn't really mind that stuff.
