Its not going to blow you away but it take about 3-4 hours to watch all episodes currently released you probably wont regret it but it's not that good.

It's not even anime, it's western. It's complete shit as well. Terrible animation, terrible dialog, overall writing is terrible. If you have shit taste you'll love RWBY.

Don't forget the shit animation.
The fight scenes are fun to watch and everything else is fun to laugh at.
Overall I wouldn't say its particularly good, but it is consistently entertaining.

Fights are nice (though not as nice since Monty died)
Humor is okay, but a lot of it is Rooster Teeth in-jokes so if you never watched Red vs Blue or Achievement Hunter Let's Plays a lot of it will go over your head
Aside from that, the story is all over the place and the 3rd season takes itself way too seriously.

It's pretty slow for season 1 and 2
Season 3 is where it kicks off and gets darker with more storyline actually starting to show.
The animation is pretty shit at times, and then excellent at others.
Honestly, this is the type of show you watch if you have nothing better to do and don't expect something amazing.
