Since I'm in an unbelievably foul mood and no one should have to put up with me today, I have sequestered myself from my family. Might as well story time some Usagi for fellow anons.
I'm doing Sasuke stories because he makes Usagi grouchy and that's the theme for the night. Let's go.
Would appreciate a bump if we're about to fall off page 10.
Jesus Christ how horrifying.

Oh fuck OP am I ready for this. I read Usagi Yojimbo in a storytime an anon made last year, it was a blast but his computer fried and I think he didn't finish it. Don't know what happened to him too.
>>83878919
Oh yeah, I remember that. That was a shame.
I originally got into the series through the legendary storytime of BType. Good times.
He seems so normal...
Man, fuck spider goblins.
This page is pretty trippy.
Unfortunately for Usagi, Sasuke now thinks they are friends.
Up next: more supernatural suffering for Usagi.
>not knowing every fucking ancient Japanese legend by heart
What are you teaching your son, Usagi?
Usagi being very honest.
>How can a thing be evil?
Ask Stephen King.
You know something is going wrong when even Usagi freaks out by some sort of monster. He usually seems unfazed by some paranormal things.
It kind of surprised me how many supernatural things were in Usagi Yojimbo. When I didn't know anything about it I thought that it was some sort of serious story without monsters and such, but I like the fact that there are strange things going around in that world, it seems to go toghether very well withoutbeing too out of the place.

>It kind of surprised me how many supernatural things were in Usagi Yojimbo
There'd probably be a lot more if Sasuke wasn't running around killing them 24/7.
But yeah, I really like how Stan incorporated some magical and mystical stuff into Usagi's world.
Uh-oh.
>>83878862
Will there be a download link, my friend? Thanks for dumping.
>>83879785
Afraid not, but there should be a big torrent of all Usagi stuff up on the Bay.
'Keep it busy'
ok
That's pretty impressive.
I don't think charmander has an advantage over squirtle, though.
Time for the finale!
>>83880131
Awwww yeah!
That's a kawaii Zilla.
The only time Sasuke is lost for words.
>>83878862
Based OP, Sasuke is fantastic because he's one the few things that terrorizes and confuses Usagi
One day Sasuke and Jei are going to meet, and I have no idea how it will end, because they are both so ridiculously powerful.
It'll probably be a very shitty day for Usagi, regardless.
Ha!
Jotaro will be fine, don't worry.
Okay, let me just get a drink. I have time for one more story. There are two options:
a: A stand-alone colour story with Usagi and Sasuke fighting demons, with a little bit of Sasuke's back story
or
b: A story of Usagi, Kitsune and Sasuke facing an army of skeletons, which is pretty funny
Either way, Usagi has a bad time.
>>83880652
>b: A story of Usagi, Kitsune and Sasuke facing an army of skeletons, which is pretty funny
This, I want to see Usagi vs. the spooky skeletons
>>83880652
I vote A
>>83880700
>>83880710
Kek, of course.
Ah screw it, I'll do both. Starting with Yokai because I think it makes the skeleton story make more sense.
You beter believe it has tentacles.
>>83880848
I appreciate the time and effort you spend on us.
>>83880889
No problem, just paying it forward.
You can't refuse the qt3.14 catlady.
Clever in-joke, both Sasuke and Kitsune are foxes and alwasy spell trouble for Usagi.
It's karma that we're together Usagi. You can't escape our terrible friendship.
>>83880449
IsInazumastillpossessedby Jei?
>>83881332Nope. She was exorcised and promptly died. Now Jei took over a priest called Hama, so he's male again.
Usagi, you are just a big softy.
>>83881398What happen to the girl that travel along Jei?
>Don't be such a baby
Sasuke pls
>>83881475
She's still with him.
Not looking so hot there, buddy.
>>83880055
I'm pretty sure in the 5 elements Earth destroys water.
Well, that was a bittersweet ending. Give me five minutes and I'll be back with the final story.
Here we go.
It's weird how good this is.
Both the art and the stories themselves are very simple, but it still manages to be very engaging and entertaining.
Great, another creepy old warlock.
>>83882374
Yeah, UY is unique in that respect. It's all mostly short stories and short arcs, but then there are bigger stories running alongside them and recurring characters that develop quite well over time.
It's a sort of 'less of more' approach that is very effective.
>>83882437
*less is more
is what I meant, of course.
Gen/Kitsune is endgame OTP.
>>83879493
Oh shit. Magic Paint Brush. Run for your life.
>>83882437
Kinda reminds me of Hellboy in that regard; where it lets the story build off the situation the characters are currently involved in with out any needless exposition.
Out of line, asshole!
>>83882503
Runing is definitely the best option in most scenario's if you're not Usagi.
>>83882539
True, and both are quality comics because of it.
WHELP
Don't look too happy to see him, Usagi.
>>83882924
>can't you fly?
Just posting the recent anniversary poster to show that Sasuke is a big old fibber.
>>83882983
Argh, wrong ref. Meant >>83882946
>>83882621
>That Samurai is slaying all my comrades! Once he finishes them off, he'll come after me!
>I've got to get out of here!
One of the smartest bandits in UY history, given their usual thought process is:
>He's just one man. Get him!
Hatakeyama has legs that won't quit.
>>83883138
Haha, true. They usually never learn.
Well played!
I love me some Usagi Yojimbo, thanks OP
You know Usagi, he did help save your friends. You could be a little more enthusiastic.
But nope.
Yikes, that finger is broken.
>>83883308
This has gone from deadly serious to goofy as fuck pretty quickly.
The end! Back to your lonely, tortuous existence you go, Sasuke!
Ah, he'll be fine. I'm sure he'll pop up again to mess with Usagi's head soon enough.
Thanks for reading with me /co/, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
>>83883534
Thanks.
Thanks OP, Usagi is always good
That was fun.
Thanks for the stories.
Usagi always makes /co/ a better place. Thanks, Anon.
It's a shame the west isn't as keen to translate comics into animated series.
There's lots of material for an animated series.
>>83878979
>that serving girls blush
All the ladies love Usagi
They all get dead if they get too close, though
>>83883854
Maybe that's for the best, can you imagine executives dumbing down Usagi to be more "child friendly"?
>>83884111
Can you imagine 8 seasons, with ten episodes each on Adult Swim, or if Stan were really luck on HBO?
>>83884498
That sounds wonderful, but I know it won't happen. At least we got samurai Jack right?
