what your favority comicbook cover ?
mine is daredevil #184
Just going through what I have saved on my computer, I really like this one. Paolo Rivera's comics are mostly amazing, except for a couple of his Avenging Spider-Man ones.
I remember the first DD:Fall From Grace cover is great though

Rivera's *covers, fuck

Anything with a character not known for using conventional weaponry holding a realistic gun always make me chuckle for some reason.
This. I don't care what anyone says.
Can you at least explain WHY its your favorite covers?

I doubt many people would argue with you, as long as you know the sequel is shit.

It's a bold testament to the power of the gradient tool and the importance of marketing in mainstream superhero comics (the logo, #1) rather than any artistic effor contained within in the pages.

The issue got a lot of shit but I love the cover. It was the best way to show respect.

Only comic I ever bought on the strength of the cover alone. It sucked.
Am I the only one that genuinely misses when TONS of effort were put into covers? Even the gimmick covers of the 90s were preferable now to where it's just some random art the artist drew so that they can resell the original to collectors at a convention. It used to be the cover was given MAJOR importance, since that was the first part you saw and that's how they sold you the book. Now it's all just random shots of the main character and/or villain of the month and usually has nothing to do with the story or contents of the issue and tells you nothing you couldn't figure out from reading the title at the top of the cover. I think that's why there are so few memorable covers anymore that people can still immediate identify/recognize years later.
This dumb thing. The cracking logo, the obnoxious neon green backdrop. Love this cover.
I probably would never have started reading superhero comics if they cover had not caught my attention at the drug store as a kid.
All day erry day

That was my first comic ever. I love it.

Really? I had read Transformers and Dinorider comics before that, but it was my first superhero book.

Kubert and Hama's run on Wolverine was pretty decent.
>>83871068
I aways wanted this as a poster

I think you're romanticizing old covers too much, especially the 90s.. The things that's no longer a staple of cover art are speech bubbles that tell the content of the story, but that doesn't mean that the amount of simple action shots of the main characters has increased.

10/10 gradients
This cover has imprinted into my mind whenever I think about The Joker since I first saw it when I was around 3-5 years old. One of my earliest nightmares came from this Joker.
