I would rather watch the Cleveland show than Family Guy.

>American Dad (for good jokes and stories) > Cleaveland Show (for background noise) > Family Guy (if I was strapped to a chair and being tortured)
>>
>>83864490
Screw you, OP. It was a catchy intro. Show was terribly 50% of the time, barely passable 45%, and only good like 5%, but the theme was fine.

*click*EVELAND BROWN. And I am glad to be, right back in my home town with my new senpai-i-ly!

>senpai-i-ly
Way to go, word filter. You've inadvertently inspired Seth MacFarlane to create an American Dad spin-off starring Toshi.
>>
>>83865318
totally forgot about the wordfilter and thought that post was some weird attempt at ironic weeaboo-ness, or something
>>
>>83864490
About how my memories of that show go.
>>
I do the same thing OP.
My sister didn't think people really immediately change the channel when certain shows come on until I did that.
Now she knows it's not just a joke in shows.
>>
>>83865771
I have pretty much an automatic reaction to change the channel as fast as possible if I hear the cleveland show theme come on. Same with Family Guy though at this point
>>
>>83864490
And boom goes the dynamite
>>

Why are the wives and daughters always more tolerable for me? I'm assuming it's bias after The Simpsons, but Bob's Burgers threw that theory out the window.
>>
>>83864528
I don't like that it just explains the premise when the other have better lyrics.
>>
>*smacks lips profusely*
What did he mean by this?
>>
>>83864529
HAH!
>>
>>83868356
I can see that. To me it felt like a nice callback to the 70's sitcom style theme it was going for, though.
>>
>>83865318
Oh that's what it is.

We need more word filters make for some funny moments
>>

>the scraps left over from American dad and family guy

how did this even make it 4 seasons!
>>
>>83865318
Heh
>>
>>83864490
this show was criticized way too harshly. its just as good as american dad, when they arent focusing on raolo.

>far away, two characters eating in the background as cleveland walks off screen
>"so ive been thinking about killing myself lately"
>"is that why you didnt order any food?"
seriously, how is this not the best joke out of the three shows?

Nit's not as good a AD, but definitely much better than Family Guy. And yeah, some of the minute jokes were amazing.

I felt the show was really weak until the casino episode. Only bad episode I can really think of after that was the hurricane episode.
>Cleveland Jr. actually prepared for the hurricane
>Family was acting like assholes to him because he didn't believe in God and doing bullshit ways to survive
>You're suppose to hate Cleveland Jr. because he's doesn't believe in anything just like with Brian

Other than that episode and Donna's mom killing herself implying her ex didn't change in the end, the show was pretty decent.

This Muggah gets it.
Although admittedly the premise of a cartoon that was essentially "Black Family Guy" headed up by a white voice actor and creative team could be construed as kind of offensive. Still not nearly as offensive to the senses as later season Family Guy.
