I love the visuals that are very 70's comic strip and also a little 90's cartoonish and all the quirky sisters. Lincoln isn't a totally annoying character for the story to revolve around and the lessons aren't always totally ham-fisted and forced.

Not entirely sure how that works but it sounds like it would be near the end of the episode. They probably cut out a scene of her seeing Lincoln on stage at the concert. Maybe they just wanted to keep the episode centered around Luna and Lincoln's relationship without bogging it down by other plot points. We'll likely see more Christina down the line.

I think they're letting his future aspirations be so nebulous so that he can relate better to those who aren't sure of what they want to do later in life, and to also provide more wiggle room for any plot that requires him to be interested in something.
Given his love for comics and how each title card is formatted like a Sunday strip, I can see him becoming interested in cartooning.

It's a good show. Basically Nick's saving grace.
It's being over hyped though. It's cute and simple, slice of life, down to earth. Which is really admirable in these days. It captures a newpaper comic feel to it, sort of like the Family Circus (Minus the terrible humor), or Calvin and Hobbes.

I admit I don't know much about child beauty pageants, and maybe it's better that way so I don't wind up liking Lola less.
But from what I heard, the main problem with those pageants is their moms being ultra competitive and stressing or verbally/emotionally their daughters.
But Mrs Loud seems like a very hands off parent. The children clean up after themselves, Lori drives them to school, Lincoln cooks breakfast, etc. So I can't imagine her as some harpy forcing Lola to do stuff. So Lola does all this stuff of her own free will, which makes her look like a competitive and driven young girl, which I find to be a plus for her.
