Noe that we're storytelling Deadly Hands of Fung Fu, related, but looking back, Iron Fist is quite sad for an origin story.
His father is killed in frit of him by his father's friend, his mother then dies killed by wolfs, just a few metters from being safe. The he gets put in a fireign fairy asian land in which he has to rrain to be tge ciry mascot or either proably dying trying to, and he runs once he can, now to his original land, t where he no longer belongs, to revenfe his father death. But he doesn't, in the end.
It says much about the character that he-s coping quite well with all of it, and more after that.
