i rewatched the whole thing recently and thought it was way better than i remembered
Cow & Chicken is the same case with Rugrats for me.
Neither shows have aged well, but that doesn't mean they aren't still enjoyable. Like a food product that has aged past the "Best By" date: It's not as good, but it's still edible.

I think it withstood the test of time, but my tastes changed. I no longer think that gross is funny.
Rugrast is better that i remember, but Cow & chicken is just gross to me now.

I swear this is about 90% of episodes for this show. It was entertaining at first, but I got tired of the formula.

For me, I still enjoy Cow and Chicken as I'm older but for different reasons. Red Guy used to be my least favorite character as a kid, now he's the best. Same with Squidward, Tom the cat, and Edd.
Ed, Edd & Eddy. I loved it as a kid but tried rewatching it and there was nothing about it that I liked.
The Red Guy's parts still hold up. The show is worth watching just for him.

I remember when that Duck! episode commercial came on my mother and I just being in tears laughing, unable to breathe even. Now I can't really get through an episode, I recall Grim and the bully being such great characters and Billy being a lot more funny
