Actually, yes, it does. If Zoom is stopped and jailed, he doesn't kill Harry. If Harry isn't dead, he doesnt precipitate the incident (which happens either way, but with less casualties.) If it explodes, Flash happens again. Since Eddie doesn't even need o kill himself, time rapture doesn't happen and E2 Zoom never learns about the Multiverse. He probably ends up killing himself with various drugs and such.

But there's no precedent for Zoom being stopped. The events in E-2 will always happen. Plus, wasn't Zoom already traveling around different Earths before then?
