Someone once made an argument that Dishonored captured the "No kill rule" aspect of Batman really well, because the game ALLOWS you to kill but you have to actively choose not to, since you can go through the game without killing anyone.
It'd be neat if you could kill people or be brutal BvS tier Batman in this, but over the course of the game things play out very differently and end with the reveal that you're actually Azrael or something, and if you play the "good" route you're the real Batman at the end and Azrael is the villain. Same could be done with Superman and Bizarro. It'd be a good way to utilize the interactive nature of games in a way that can't be done in any other medium.
Of course it's Telltale so it won't be even close to that ambitious, only a couple of small things will change no matter what you do.

I would want the DD segments to be an action game like Arkham, but where you can't actually see. The screen is black, and sound sources appear as feint neon blue pulses that fire off pink lines that conform to whatever they collide with, basically temporarily revealing the shapes of objects in the environment. Your character would be represented by his beating heart in the middle of the screen that beats faster as you lose health.
It'd be really experimental, especially with the VN court segments, so it has no chance of being made, but I'd love it.

I'd managed to do everything right, secured advantages marriage, keep those loyal loyal, gain allies in the capital, fuck up enemy plans to recruit mercenaries without getting caught, gained own mercenaries from Essos, succesfully negotiated return of brother etc.
Then lolnope Ramsey who has show-armour turned up, wrecked everything, now you're exactly where you'd be if you'd been fucking up the whole game and had nothing. Just because they were too fucking lazy to write multiple endings or story branches in the last couple of episodes. And they outright didn't put in obvious decisions that would get characters out of situations alive in the game because they needed those characters dead for their railroading.

I've wanted an episodic batman game for many years, but not like this
In my head it was open world, and each new episode would add content in different areas
Sometimes for a main narrative, sometimes side missions maybe with other characters
Like the Arkham stories, but taking place during/intersecting with the main game, not having fucking copy and paste boss fights
It was also three seasons with 20 episodes long, and costed $60 to $80 each, so I guess that's too much content for modern gaming
