1. When they chase them to the castle in the beginning. This is easily explained by them following the Blue Lion.
2. When they know their coming to the Balmera. This is the only time I recall them explicitly mentioning the Galra knowing what they're going to do. In story, Hunk thinks it was the mercenaries, but it could've also been Shay's brother. It doesn't really get explicitly explained, and the villain perspective on it doesn't say either, so it might still be open.
I think they knew they were coming to rescue Allura too, but that could easily be because they expected them to do so.

honestly, i didn't mind the scooters/speeders. I mean, if they really wanted to, they could not only use them as an independent means of transportation in the series, they could probably also sell them as toys if they wanted to. They could also legitimately cut out the elevator down, the zipline, the slide, and the elevator up from the launch sequence, and it would still make sense.
