Those movies are great. Id rather cape kino be made like that than sequel after uninspired sequel. I think its funny how everyone complains about all the crossovers and events in the comics but is completely okay with it in movies. I can watch Punisher or Ghost Rider without having to watch ten other films to get the plot. Also remeber when Hulk got movies? Back then I thought Hulk was gunna be Americas Godzilla and just get a bumch of flicks where he destroys things, but nope gotta put him on the backvurner because his character is apparently to one-dimensional to further this overhyped Infinity Wars movie thats coming out. Phase 1 was the selva oscura, with the singles in particular broadly reflecting someone who was disoriented and unsure of where they were in life
Phase 2 was obviously Hell, with Albarn himself saying that each the middle songs reflected a modern vice or mortal trap which people have to contend with today (White Light = drugs/alcohol, Dirty Harry = war, Every Planet We Reach is Dead = tumultuous relationships, Feel Good Inc. = mindless pleasures, etc; that's simplified but you get the picture).
Phase 2 was purgatory. All of the characters are in/attempting to reach a place that represented a liminal escape from their troubles. The album as a whole seems to reflect an attempt to make peace with the ills of the world, to turn trash and spiritual pollution (plastic, pop) into something livable; to find meaning in detritus. This one's harder to explain but that's what I took away from it. I'll have to dig up my older thoughts on it.
The there's The Fall, which is a title that has biblical implications itself. I think this is more off the cuff and doesn't exactly fit but if it were to I would say that it was presented out of order and fits between phase 1 and 2.
Phase 3 is coming up.
I don't know how strong an argument that is but I'm really tired and pulling my thoughts together is kind of difficult. I hope it was useful though.

Ghost Rider is one of the most entertaining movies in the world just because of the Cage factor. Also hearing the old Everscene music and nu-metal in old films like that are hilarious. Theres a reasom people think "wake me up inside" is hilarious and its because Daredevil is timeless. That being said a lot of these movies arent nearly as bad as people say, and i will still defend Spider-Man as the end all be all trilogy.
