I'm not really hype. 11 minutes isn't enoug time for any sort of good narrative or world building, so it's going to be one-offs in a vacuum that, if I have to guess, will go mostly for humor.

Right, and those were fine. But most people were hoping for a proper series with a narrative, and not just more DC nation shorts with a different title and marketing label.
If the focus isn't action, in 11 minutes, that's dumb, cause it'll probably be comedy. And if it IS, that's still dumb, because action without investment is also a bad idea. The good action movies/shows work because you're invested and relate to the characters and have had time to do so. It'll take 5 episodes to get the screen time of two 24-30 minute shows. And they're likely not going to spend that time doing character stories, especially since the huge cast is being touted as a feature. The episodes about zatanna or Doctor fate or captain marvel in the older shows were good because you got time to know them.
I hope they prove me wrong, but meh.
