Guys, I have started reading back comics after a long period of time....the new stuff was....disappointing.
I used to read both marvel and dc. Cap and Punisher being my favorites
My question is : Is valiant comics a solid alternative? I like "relative normal " heroes. Similar to my 2 favorites, where they are defined by their characters rather than their powers

Valiant is great, Is started reading them a few months ago and none of them has been disappointing. Pick everything up and have fun.

If you want something similar to Cap and Punisher in Valiant, you won't find it.

Well x-o Manowar and Lemires Bloodshot (don't read the other series) kinda compare

Image comics has a series called Invincible.
By far my favorite superhero series on the market. It's superheroes that change and evolve as characters.

Yeah, but it's not really that feeling. X-O is space barbarian kingor SF Aquaman, as one anon saidand Bloodshot... trouble finds him, he more wants to be left alone. I do recommend reading them anyway.
