Her and Ren Reilly/Scarlet Spider were my Spider heroes growing up, as I was a comic reading during her debut and his arc. Then he got murdered, and she got kidnapped out of existence.
At least with Mayday there was always the hope she would find her way home, or Khaine would raise her as a slightly more edgy Spider-girl. Instead, One More Day has pretty much destroyed all chance of her ever existing.
The kicker is the comics are also prohibitively expensive now, so I can't even buy her original run for nostalgia. The entire setting was pretty based, really.
Ah well. Being a Mayday fan is suffering, but at least I'm a fan of X-23 who totally isn't going to go back to being an irrelevant side-character when Logan comes back, and Jessica Jones, who isn't just a supporting character in other peoples comics.

The hell are you talking about? Spider-Girl comics are cheap as fuck. You can generally get lots of them for virtually nothing, as (with few exceptions), each issue goes for less than 1USD.
