So if he wrote all of the original Silver Age Marvel comics why does everything about them from characterization to tone to style change when there's an artist switch?
Why do characters like Daredevil and Iron Man have such inconsistent tones until there's a stable artist on the book?
Why do characters like Dr. Strange completely change personality when they guest star in a book like F4 that's drawn by a different artist?
We've established that he generally dictated the broader strokes of the mags and left much of the smaller page to page work to the artists. This isn't new ground you're covering.

Steranko is based in most areas of his life but he's a company man through and through and really can't be trusted on issues of Stan Lee or Marvel.
The fact that a guy whose art style owes so much to Kirby who took over Kirby's books refuses to defend Jack or speak an ill word against Stan is just bullshit.

It's funny that Lee and Goodman kept their relationship a secret so for many years Kirby and Ditko and Heck and those guys wondered why the obnoxious loud mouth 17 year old kid that hung around their office that couldn't write or draw a story suddenly became their boss essentially over night when they were all industry vets.

I read his spidey, x-men and DD runs and they're all shared his style of dialogue. It really made you believe that these characters can exist at the same world and interacted with each others.

On the other, no. He was just an editor who handled final passes on dialogue.
He's both more and less important than people give him credit for.

Because Marvel has shit writers that have no concept of continuity. They openly write out things they don't like by other writers and just ignore aspects of characters that have been cannon for years if not decades. It's rather embarrassing to be quite honest.
