Never even heard of Moon Knight until seeing him around the /co/ catalog recently. Got curious and checked out the three current issues of the new Lemire run. I'm really interested to see where it goes, provided it keeps it ambiguous as to whether Marc is seeing what's real or if he's just crazy.
What should I know about Moon Knight?

The six issue run by Ellis, Shalvey, and Bellaire is fantastic, got huge word of mouth coverage, and salvaged a character many people had given up on after Bendis.

For Moon Knight, the best answer to that is usually "all of the above".
Khonshu is real, and Moon Knight has some magical shenanigans going on with his character, but like >>83528378 says, his brain just doesn't quite work normally because of that exposure.

I first read v1 issue 1-7 and aside from the origin story the rest was garbage and the writing was inconsistent

Those are when Sienkiewicz started to develop his unique style and Moench started to push the scripts to match. Strong issues with mindblowing art.
