If anything, this is way better and more interesting than I thought it'd be. I expected a grimdark edgy take on magical girls. I got something actually pretty damn intriguing. All the "grimdark edginess" actually works for it really well. It was fun seeing how deep the rabbit hole goes, so far as Addison and her family's craziness go.
