Do you have an idea for a comic, animation, or webcomic you'd like to create?

Let's say you made it, how do you think /co/ would react to it?
>>
Main characters are an adult woman and a preteen boy.

/co/ projecting their /ss/ fantasies onto it would probably work in my favor since they'd more than likely look past my mediocre writing in hopes of fanservice.
>>
>>83461743
>Do you have an idea for a comic, animation, or webcomic you'd like to create?
Of course I do. Who the fuck doesn't?

It's just the adventures of a group of morally ambiguous mercenaries.

>Let's say you made it, how do you think /co/ would react to it?
They'd hate it and call me Tumblr because they're all women, and none of them are white.
>>
>>83462118
>They'd hate it and call me Tumblr because they're all women, and none of them are white.
You just have to make them waifus, Anon.
>>
Main character is a transgirl.

It would be accused of being Tumblr bullshit, while at the same time there'd be a decent chance a bunch of porn would be made.
>>
One of the main cast is coded gay but that aspect of his personality is really only played for humor so I'm not sure if I would be accused of being sjw.
>>
>>83462133
/co/ has been infected with that "purity" shit. All my gals are slightly crazy bitches who fuck people up if it gets the job done. Making them waifus is neither an option, nor desirable. Artistic integrity is very important to me.
>>
lumberjack cuts down dryads tree, with her last breath she passes the job of forest gaurdian on to him.
he must now find a way to protect the woods from the logging company he works for, while also doing his job enough to not get transferred away. to make matters worse, hes slowly changing to fit his new job as the forests resident dryad, and, well...
whoever heard of a male dryad?
>>
Honestly I stopped giving a fuck what /co/ or anyone would think. If my re at I've work ever becomes anything the only person I want to please with it is me
>>
An autistic superhero in mainstream comics

/co/ would flame it calling it "tumblr pandering" and a flood of autism insults ensues.
>>
>>83462269
>"Artistic integrity is very important to me"
>wants to make something about morally ambiguous mercenaries as if it's not cliche as fuck
Yeah, you ARE tumblr.
>>
>>83462379
I never said it wasn't cliche as fuck, originality is a lie. But it's what I want to do.

And seriously, /co/ is always rambling on about how pandering ruins everything, so one would think you'd be all about artistic integrity.
>>
>>83462451
Yeah, but only pandering that isn't pandering to /co/ itself.
>>
>>83461743
/co/ would love my idea because I'm really awesome and come up with great ideas that if written would receive praise far and wide and probably called by many on /co/ the greatest of our time.
>>
>>83461743
>Do you have an idea for a comic, animation, or webcomic you'd like to create?
Yes, several.

> Let's say you made it, how do you think /co/ would react to it?
They are mostly depressing existentialist bullshit that I doubt /co/ (or anyone) would read in the first place. If I'm lucky enough, someone would story time and even then, it won't get many traffic.
>>
>>83462313
/co/ would probably call it trans propaganda.
depends on how happy this guy is with his new job.
>>
>>83462313
>Whoever heard of a male dryad?
Plenty of people have. They're usually huge brutish looking chaps that look more like walking humanoid trees, as a counterpoint to their female counterparts who look like hot flower gals. Think ents, but swole.
>>
>/co/ hates it but comes around just as it gets cancelled
>/co/ loves it but gets bored after gushing over it incessantly then forces themselves to hate it in order to keep themselves entertained
>/co/ doesn't give a shit and the few people who do like it give up trying to discuss it because it will never be a popular topic
>>
I have an amazing idea. Though why would I share it here? You guys would probably hate it like you do anyway. I'm not really supposed to talk about it either, for... legal reasons.
>>
>>83461743
/co/ would think it's a rip off and disregard it/mock it.
The execs would probably think the same thing too, I wouldn't get past the green-light process.
>>
>>83461743
Black ninja protects his inner city from violence.

>>
Many, but here's one I'm most okay with getting butchered by the tv industry

Turf and Surf: A Lobster with a Texas accent name Turf and a Longhorn Steer with a Boston accent named Surf (or any type of New England accent) do stuff, often times running into Miss Figure, A woman who often appears as the episodes' figure of authority/antagonist (Like the Red Guy from Cow and Chicken or Hollywood from 2 Stupid Dogs)
>>
I have an idea for a magical girl comic where the girls have powers based on the Period Table of the Elements.
>>
I can't say much but it's a mockumentary.
How would /co/ react? I don't know. Does /co/ like documentaries?
>>
All of my work is packed with obscure references, to the point where you need to know about occultism, calculus, spanish literature, oldschool rave scene, chess apertures and a encyclopedic knowledge of Borges' life and work.

I like to write complex stuff for fun, but /co/ would make fun of my extremely pretentious setting.

Medieval buddy-cop story about a by-the-books knight and the slacker wizard she gets teamed up with trying to stop an evil cult from awakening a dragon that will destroy everything.
>>
>>83461743
No idea of mine is original nor probably substantially interesting enough to warrant attention.

My most recent proto-idea involves an urban setting where the characters have very odd names based on obscured languages and their respective characterization are derived from those: e.g. a young girl named Nareeka who is a fowler and a group of siblings all named Be L Tz that... I dunno, discover petroleum in their backyard or something. It's essentially a sign of my inexistent creativity that my ideas for characters are based entirely on random words I know.
>>
>>83464897
Oh, and
>how do you think /co/ would react to it?
It most likely fly way under their radar. Except in the very off chance that it turns out to be a light-hearted, "comfy" SoL fluff, which this board for some reason loves so much.
>>
>>83463733
Could be funny each month. I'd read if the writing was clever enough.
>>
>>83464545
I'm not worried about it, I just know it'd probably happen. /co/ is very predictable and hair trigger. I doubt they'd wait long enough for the lovable old misogynist character to show up.
>>
I have an idea
I was thinking about a story that follows a cop who suddenly have to deal with the appearance of heroes and villains. In this case they have never appeared in real life until recently, now the cop has to deal with usual cap scenarios as effective as possible while dealing with these colorful costume weirdos.
>>
I'm so fucking pathetic I think about this every day

My "big" idea is for what would be predominately a comedy with a bit of plot. Appeal would come from the humour and characterization, I actually have no idea how funny I am
>>
>>83465654
forgot to add that /co/ would fucking roast me

Was going through some old containers in my basement when I found an old Sketch of this superhero I wanted to write about.

"Son of Man" was it's name. i still remember his back story.

"Son of Man" was created in the wake of WWI by a secret council of German, American, and Japanese scientists, working together to create a "conflict resolution" machine. A machine that could analyze growing conflicts in the world and go about trying to solve them in a humane way. They give the machine A.I. and program it to do no harm, but when the American Government finds out about this plan capture the scientists and confiscate the machine.

They immediately begin turning Son of Man into a weapon, testing its capabilities as an atomic weapon. Once armed however, Son of Man realizes that the Government's plan is conflicting with it's primary objective of achieving world peace. Using its newfound power Son of Man breaks out of holding and flees.

Continue?

"Have you ever punched someone so hard, that they became a door?"

One day common MC and school troupe of friends are fooling around in between classes, when suddenly...
A mean looking muscle man falls trough the window of the classroom, hes followed by another moustached muscleman wearing a tux and a small facemask.

Both start having an all out brawl in the school hallways, breaking shit and stuff

The mean muscleman throws a piece of furniture and by accident hits MCs childhood friend.
MC grabs a baseball bat and tries to beat the bad guy, but the opponent doesn't even flinch after the attack.
Using it as a distraction the elegant muscleman punch the villain so hard that the sound of the impact brakes the nearby windows

MC stares startled as the bad guy turns into a steel door. The elegant muscleman opens it and walkstrough. MC drops the bat and follows him. The door vanishes in front of all his classmates.

MC is then introduced to a strange group of masked men and women.

They fight those who they call "The antagonists", beings who seem human but follow a secret agenda. Among their strange properties is the most notorious, they become doors when defeated. But not everyone can open said doors.

A series where the streets are patrolled by the worst heroes possible eg;
Can Spot Diabetes Man (the exclusive power to see if someone has diabetes)
Vehicular Manslaughter man (drives a batmobile esque car but must kill people whenever driving)
EmPHAsis man- He organizes the team, but emphasizes the wrong things
The Cravat- A version of the Question that only has an oversized tie covering his genitals.
Ted!- Regular superhero by day, he becomes crimefighting banker Ted by night.
The Bluetooth Wizard- A random buisnessman walking by the heroes saying some random thing on his bluetooth that the heroes take as gospel.
Speech Impediment man- A superman clone that everyone thinks is comic releif due to his lisp.

Villians include
The Horrifying MAN-man (a regular guy who everyone treats like Frankenstiens monster)
The Pirate (a homeless war vet the heroes beat up)
Can't Build a Pipebomb man- He can't build a pipebomb and horribly dies the first time he tries.
>>
One of the characters is a pun based off a Feminist Buzzword, so I'd expect a ruckus over that.
>>
>Do you have an idea for a comic, animation, or webcomic you'd like to create?
Yeah, several. Just like everyone else.

>Let's say you made it, how do you think /co/ would react to it?
This is /co/. Everyone on it's general thread would be singing it's praises and everyone would think it's shit everywhere else.
I make a character not white/male/straight, someone's going to call me SJW trash.
I like stories that tend towards idealism instead of cynicism, so someone would find some way to complain it's not "mature" enough for them.
Someone would complain about the art.
Someone would complain about the story.
Someone would complain about the characters.

Le's face it, if I make a work of fiction, you faggots are the last people I'm talking to for advice.

>a kingdom where no one dies because the soil contains bacterial necromancers

but it'd be met with indifference with an occasional compliment

Old man James Bond and Xander Cage (the guy from xXx) are send to kill Jason Bourne
They can't kill Bourne but they are too much for Bourne so Bourne feigns his dead to escape from them.

If it actually gets made into a comic it'll be quiet bad.
>>
Mines a simple superhero origin story..

It's about a marine scientist who creates an invention that let's him use sound waves and vibrations in the water to talk to sea animals. And an earpiece that in turn let's him "hear" what they are saying through the vibrations in the water.

The creatures of the sea then warn him of a coming worldwide threat (think cthulu) but he doesn't know who will ever believe him. So he uses his knowledge of sound waves to create a suit that can do things like fly, various sound waved based weapons/defences and things like that.. Obviously I don't have a lot of the details worked out yet.

>Lighthearted plot-loose gag comic set in modern supernatural city, Gravity Falls-style.

Probably decried as tumblr shit due to my sense of humor and the fact that most of the protagonists are girls. Also a lot of porn and waifu arguments.

>Black-and-white Call of Cthulu-esque quest comic featuring qt grill rabbit and mouse fighting eldritch monsters forcibly dragging unnatural color into the world.

Porn and waifu arguments. Also note that I like drawing cute girls, so most of these ideas involve them in some fashion.

>Manga-styled adventure comic featuring a wide cast of qt monstergirls beating each other up for sick treasure.

Literally all of the porn and waifu arguments in the world.

>Sci-fi space adventures featuring multiple unconnected stories involving a superstronk alium what wants to fight everyone, a pair of broke questionably-moraled assholes with a space ship, and Not-Undyne the space pirate.

A bunch of nerds talking shit about how the shit I write would never be scientifically possible. Everyone wants to fuck the fish.

>Final Fantasy Tactics-inspired fantasy comic with fairly serious storytelling and heavily gray morality

Lengthy multi-post arguments about how "X did nothing wrong", even when X did every single thing wrong.

Basically I've come to the conclusion to ignore everything /co/ says about anything I ever make.

One is an idea for a cartoon called "Cookies" about two warring factions of Girl Scouts. Characters and themes take heavy inspiration from Kids Next Door, GI Joe and the Metal Gear franchise.

Conspiracy.jpg

As others have said, we all do, and I've posted my shit idea before.

The main premise is that the Illuminati is real, controls most of the planet, is behind most major world events, and is suffering from incompetent management, too much paperwork, constant budget cuts, poor communication, and internal power struggles between the reptile-people, apocalyptic, and transhumanist factions. Not to mention pesky tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorists.

If it had enough traction to warrant discussion on /co/, a select few shitposters would try to look for proof that characters are the Antichrist or Jewish, and/or say that it's an insulting way to portray real-life problems. Most others would see it as an attempt to capitalize on Gravity Falls or Night Vale's popularity. My preliminary ideas try to have shipping bait between the main tinfoil hat and one Illuminati member, but I doubt that anyone would cling to them. There are two characters they MAY accuse me of pandering with, but they'll more likely be criticized for being dull or lolrandumb.

Best case scenario: it has a few slow threads for a week, gets one particularly funny piece of porn that people repost sometimes in lewd threads, and is forgotten otherwise.

Worst case scenario: random scenes get continually spammed to show "proof" that I'm working with an actual New World Order and trying to cover things up.
