The Spider-man vs amazing spider man thing is nuts

>2 billion profits
they're more delusional than Snyder fans

it's not really clear what's been said there
the options (other than what you've decided) are that the 2 billion is for the six movies over five years discussed in that paragraph, which would be about right (note it says "profits" not "gross" or "turnover"- these are not the same thing); or, since the later para seems to contradict this with the 12 billion (assuming this isn't a typo in this horrible, horrible idiot's careless email riddled with errors), it could refer not simply to profits from a movie's general release, but back-end - 2 billion still seems high but not totally impossible (the merchandise, most of which is Marvel-owned, is only worth about $200m a year; home video sales might approach $2bn gross if it sold 100m units, but even 25m units would be extreme; tv rights for a popular movie can quickly rack up a lot and continue to pay out over several years - five years of that would certainly start to approach $2bn combined)

What. A crossover movie?

Fanboys be like "The Amazing Spiderman is more faithful than the Raimi films!!! Tobey is cringey!!!"
I agree. Dean's chocolate milk is crucial to Spiderman's origin.

>when Disney got Star Wars for 4
