Entirely new team of animators and writers.
I personally found the new style to be off-putting, but the generally terrible episode plots were the final nail in the coffin. Personally don't count the third and fourth seasons as canon.
Tend to hate seeing stock images of the redesign used in media these days.

Overall they lacked the charm of the first two seasons.
But there were also really awful ones like "A Quackor Cartoon".

It just doesn't fit the show as well and it's jarring compared to the old designs.
