Luthor was a creep and loon and I really hated what they did in this version of him. Yeah, he's not "muh luthor" but I don't really see how he was anyone's luthor.
Bats was good enough for me to be excited for a new solo movie, even though I'm fucking tired of Batman movies. Wonder Woman was fine and I'm excited for her solo, as well.
Supes, again, was disappointing. I gave the character a "first day at work" pass in MoS but he was basically flat here, like you could've replaced him with the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey and gotten the same movie. Which is a shame, because now it's even harder to convince people that he can actually be a good character and has been moreso than not.

I've seen complains about the fight not having the same wight here compared to TDKR because Superman and Batman haven't been friends for decades. I actually thought it was a better scenario because the only way I can imagine both characters willingly fighting is if they don't really know each other. I liked the individual origins videos, but I felt playing them like that all in a row was a mistake. It felt like they were viral videos promoting new movies rather than naturally flowing with the story.
I would have done it where we only see a quick shocked reaction from WW as the videos begin to play. Then I'd play the actual videos alongside the end credits, similar to how JL: Doom played their profiles in the opening credits.
It'd also be a nice singature for the DCEU: play their stingers during the credits while MCU plays theirs in the middle/end of the credits.
Reminder that there are portions of BvS to like but as a whole its a failure. Anything else and you're delusional. And yeah I'm aware of the impending essays telling me why Im wrong
