This book has been surprisingly great. Best Carol we've gotten in a long time. And Alpha Flight is a great addition to the cast, especially Puck.
The only thing I would want changed is for Carol to stop strapping her breasts down.

Yeah, this arc was definitely written for the trade. Individually, each issue isn't all that great, but it makes a really good cohesive whole. That tends to be the problem with decompression more often than not.
Wow, this is pretty great. I wish I had been following it closer when it came out, the art is flat out fantastic and I love these characters. Shame it's at 25,156 in sales last month, that seems like a damn waste.

I think the issue is Cyclops is considered "right" because Avengers were for protecting the status quo, which was that the Mutant race no longer existed outside of a handful of people and no new mutants had the possibility of being born because of Scarlet Witch Reality Re-Writing. And what Cyclops was fighting for was to utilize Hope and the Phoenix somehow fix this situation and have new mutants be born. Ultimately Cyclops's way ended up being messy, terrible for both sides, and ended up killing a lot of people and making everyone hate him... but his end goal, the survival of the mutant species, seemed to go forward.
Also speaking of "was right" memes, let's not forget: Norman Osborn was Right.

Hoping Fazekas and Butters can come back to the title after the CW2 bullshize is over. This was quite an impressive debut for two TV writers. They got it mostly right: mix of action and dialogue, the choice of setting was good (if a little DS9ish) and a great fit for Carol. Things got a little clunky here and there but the pacing was something Coates could learn from in his Black Panther.

What's weird is KSD wrote Carol quite well in the Avengers Assemble ongoing. Think when given the solo title she blew all her creative spark on that first timetravel arc though and it chickflicked on us from there on out.
