Looks like Buddibombs don't just crawl, they bounce too (panels 1 & 2). Hadn't noticed that before.

I love the way panels 3 & 4 are one of those "Everyone just stops what they're doing and reassesses the situation" bits. Even the giant monster and the buddibombs.

Shit dude, one of them is wielding a ladle, cleaver in other hand, and wears a bandanna pirate style. You know that fucker's serious when he's preparing to fight someone, especially a 10 foot tall monster mutant, with a ladle.

>>83148218

Badass Cop teaming up with Badass Chefs to kill monster mutants picture when?
>>
>>83147167
It's like a scene right out of an RPG game.

You got Master Chef Brilligioni who dual wields knives to filet enemies, Trusty Brian who picked up whatever was near him, and Vince in the back who plays straight man, and it just so happened that everyone picked the same class: chef.

The RPG just started with everything suddenly going to shit, one of the nearby chefs suddenly mutated into a giant monster, and they just started combat. GM makes a background roll on the second turn, rolls again, sighs, then describes two Loony Toons characters soaked in blood running through the kitchen with 50 walking grenades following them.
>>
>>83147167
Kind of reminds me of the first time they used Mousers on the current TMNT show. Except those didn't explode.

You know, considering the thing that Baxter used for tagging Mouser target couldn't be washed off and the turtles basically had to survive until it wore off by itself, the villains should really use them more often.
>>
>>83148102
>>83148309

Speaking from experience, a lot of kitchen crews are no joke when it comes to fights.

Handling knives all day gives you an edge in an emergency.

Isn't that always the way with kids' TV shows though?

>>
>>83148670
Morr or less, and NickTMNT is particularly guilty of that. They never gave Xever/Fishface enough screentime to form a team with Dogpound, then Dogpound mutated further and went even more solo, and now with Tigerclaw, Bebop and Rocksteady there's just too many mutants for him to do anything.
>>
>>83147167
those shadows made me thought the buddybombs were levitating, at first.

Dunno if I would stop battling a giant mutant abomination to stare at a 2ft mouse if I were in your situation, though.

I wish I could somehow check if Endtown fanbase still has a direct interest to the comic instead of the fan service providing artwork because these threads really have been feeling rather homestucky as of late considering all the unnecessary spoilers and the cleverness of each posts (>>83147874, >>83153756, >>83150166, looking at these as examples for now) and I'm also afraid that these threads will be filled with just artwork and fancharacters instead of discussion about the comic.

I hope I'm not the only one, I really like Endtown discussion.

>>83155063

We're waiting for the flashback to finish at this point. Discussion will resume afterwards.
>>

but people does discuss the comic all the time... besides a 4 panel strip doesnt exactly contains much content for discussions... specially the last ones which are just holly trying to save her ass.

>I hope I'm not the only one
These haven't been close to what you're referring to. Even if I also dislike OC shit, that's really only when there's something about the RPG campaing, and it's not that often. Shit, when beggars pop-up looking for free art, other anon's get on them. The same could be said of KC when he flashes his direct line with the author, or whatever. People get on it, and it's dialed down. Chill out, baby.

I've been here before that. I was making Endtown threads back then.

>most of them actually engage in the general discussion, also art helps keep the htreads moving and interesting

I've seen people using those threads like personal blogs or talking about their other, non-Endtown strips in here. It's an Endtown thread, not Furry General. And there's no point in displaying a name when not posting actual art in the specific post unless you're an attention whore.

Fanart is always nice though.

>it has been months since we had a waifuwar, you must have been gone for a long fucking time

Those soured the threads for me the most. I still see some of it in those threads, often through fanart. Some people have such a hateboner for Holly they seem unable to understand what is going on in the strips.

I think I'd rather still stay away.

at least you understand that there is really nothing to talk about comic-wise until something major happens.

OC is usually an expansion on that discussion. Like how one anon asked a "what-if" question, then another asked Aaron about it, and then Aaron offered a nice new tidbit and we had a whole thread full of dinosaur mutants.

As opposed to one anon asking Aaron and keeping the answer to himself.

Meat tenderisers deserve their name.

Always keep a paring knife in your boot.

A colander makes a reasonable helmet in a pinch.

Lemon juice works nicely as mace when sprayed into enemy eyes.

Always remember that it only takes two men to pin another man with an overturned table.

A waffle iron has many uses, including torture implement and flail.

A good cutting board is designed to resist blades. Incidentally, so is a shield.

Durians make excellent stink grenades.

If it can get you drunk in less than a glass, it can probably also be made into a molotov.

Ineeded, Aaron really surpass himself with the full baby sequence specially by the fact that is a abortion scene, that theme when done right can really make a good way to relate to the character, when done wrong it becomes a joke that can even overshadow the whole comic and the creator has to hear about it for the rest of his life (you know who i'm talking about).

That sounds super fantastic. Really there is no mention of LA, California, or most of the United States so that means go right ahead. Besides, you're the GM, you run the boat! I say drop the hammer and run that campaign like a rented mule! Email me for anything at [email protected] I really like that Neptune place idea, that's cool.

But really though, a live test without me there is critical to testing the product. In fact, I don't think the game would be anywhere if people didn't actually come to me first and say they wanted to play it!

Matter of fact, here's something you motivated me to make.
Anaheim Anarchist.
Species: Any
Deranged hockey fanatic.
Str: 6 Agi: 4 Mind:4
Hp: 100 Armor: 60.
Equipment: Hockey stick: 1d10+15(20), Sports pads, padded joins, sports helmet. Hockey pucks 1d10+5(10) when launched.
Skills: Targeting 2, (+20 when hitting something into something else with something.)

Anyway, update.

>Gore attacks now can be made at the end of a move action. Reminds me of my heroclix days and the ol' Hulk Charge.
>Optical systems is now Advanced Interfacing.
>New Skill: Targeting
>Tackle attacks are now a thing. Basically if you have strength hire than the other guy you can knock him down.
>Musselids have been expanded to be kind of super otterbadgerweaselwolverines. I remembered that Aaron told me that mutants are rough catch-alls of their species so they have broad general or outstanding traits, even if they aren't all found in the same creature.
>I hashed it out with Aaron abit, I sent him afew basically I summarized and stat'd afew generic bad guys from the comic and asked what he thought. He said neat. I asked him if he wanted dinosaurs and he said yes but only t-rex so, officially, dinosaurs are a part of the game.

Thanks mate. Since it's gonna be played live, I'm just going to make summaries of what happened in each session and mention any kinks in the system. It's my first time GMing something that's not D&D so some problems I might see could just be personal preferences.

Well, you gotta start a discussion if you want to talk about it. There are tons of lorefags here, the rpg guys do what they do because they are giant lorefags.

It's just abit light right now because we don't have alot to discuss from the current comic because it's Holly running from things we've seen and discussed, around in a setting we've seen and discussed, and now she has run into a kitchen from those previous things and found...More things we've seen and discussed.

The only questions that come up right now is what is causing these mutations to happen all the sudden, or exactly what horrible things we are seeing this week correspond to her hellish behavior before this arc.

So, ask a question!

Excellent!

>>83170894

Trolling aside, that's a hard question. Truthfully, I've been tinkering with making my own system for afew years before stumbling on to Endtown. I really liked the comic and its fans and I thought that if it's cool then it must have a pen and paper RPG, told Aaron I was doing it and he got the idea to make it an official product to be sold. So I figure, if I'm making an official product and it's going to help Aaron then I'm going to make it worthy of the license and it's fans!

But seriously, if I wanted to exploit people and get rich I'd make a kickstarter or sell hookers.

Yeah, and there was mention of the stand-ups at that convention having the wrong colour, but the recent digitally coloured art of her feels really close to Holly's colour anyway.

If I open this and the Kirbee pic above in my paint program, Holly's hair is 254, 226, 38, Kirbee's is 251, 222, 30. Like I said, *really* close.

Inb4 that theory that an outside force is slowly changing her hair colour to make her more attractive to Wally...

Honestly the most "realistic" way to have functioning sapient AI in any setting prior to a thousand years from now or so.
>>
So, if it turns out the buddis are all sitting there re-figuring their targeting info because they've detected a monster, does this suggest that they are indeed programmed with a secret override to target any abomination present?

If so, that would mean Holly's buddis would have gone for Lyn anyway, whether she was scared of him or not. Truth be told, she seemed momentarily shocked, but then mostly concerned, even chasing him outside as he ran from the buddibombs. I wonder if they de-lock once their owner stops perceiving a threat, or if they just keep going to drive sales of replacements?
>>
>>83177777
Well, either that, or they always go after mutants.
>>
>>83177777
I don't think some sort of conspiratorial override is required for them to perceive a huge monster as a greater threat than a small mouse.

Giant fanged abominations are going to be something you'd expect them to target anyway, so whether or not they used to be human is largely irrelevant.

>>83178060
Holly wasn't targeted by her own bombs, so probably not.

>>83178310

imagine a timid person getting turned into one of the more aggressive species
>>
>>83178310
Possibly, but then again those bombs belong to the people in the other room, who may not have seen the kitchen monster.

If the bombs specifically identify the threats they target by their owners' reactions, this may signify a secondary targeting system that overrides the first. On the other hand, if they simply react to their owner feeling threatened by *anything*, and then guess at the identity of the threat, then locking onto the monster could be just a product of that, yeah.
>>
>>83179456
If I recall what Aaron said previously, they do check whether what is threatening their owner is indeed a legitimate threat, which implies they have to be able to evaluate it for themselves. And if they're out to protect their owner, switching to a more significant threat should they encounter it makes sense.

Which might be bad news for those knife-wielding chefs, come to think of it.
>>
>>83180057
Well, there are atleast 20 bombs at that room and more coming down the hallway. If even one of the goes yay then the wholr building is fucked.
