Could Charles Xavier beat Goku or other powerful DBZ/Super characters? I've seen people mentioning Marvel telepaths can beat physically OP characters easily. But isn't Goku too fast for Xavier to react and brainfuck him?

No DBZ character has EVER used their speed to its supposed true advantage. Not a single one just teleports in and delivers an instant killing blow against an enemy, even enemies that are supposedly much weaker and slower than they are.
There are two possible reasons for this: either thats not something they can actual due for whatever reason, or everyone who trains up to that level of power is too stupid to realize they can do it.
Either way, the Dragonball character would spend 30 minutes trash talking and going on about powerlevels before throwing a punch. More than enough time for Xavier to rewrite them from A to Z.
Step 1: mentally paralyze them. Freeze their thoughts, and leave them unable to think or act in any way. Xavier doesn't even have to target them specifically for this, he can just lay that down on a whole area.
After that, he has all the time in the world to paint over their memories, desires, and motivations until they are whoever he wants them to be.
Forget about Xavier, Mastermind would pretty much wreck the entire cast of Dragonball Z by tricking Goku into thinking his friends and loved ones are threats.

And that shit just proves my point. We have seen Freeza move faster than that before, but never used for anything other than posturing or dodging attacks. Given how much faster and stronger Freeza is, he should have torn that guys head clean off without ever appearing to move, and he probably could have killed all three of them at the same time if he really wanted to.

also, Goku and other saiyans enjoy to fight, so they're starting slow on purpose. That doesn't mean they can't beat an opponent in half a second.
