Yup and of course, the Red Queen wants the time travel device Alice took from Time for her own gain.

The first film was garbage, but it was self-contained and it used most of the actual Through the Looking Glass material in it anyways. There's no real reason for a sequel.

You mean besides the fact that it made over a billion dollars, right? Because that's what's going on here: milking a property for maximum shekels.

It can always be worse.

I actually liked the first one. Won't be seeing this though.

The problem with movies like Alice and Maleficent is that they market themselves as adaptations of those stories with a dark twist thrown in there when in reality they just come off as poorly written fan fictions written by a really dumb 9 year old and has very little to do with the original source material that it's based on
