So, how is he related to Black Wally? Spoilers say that they are distant cousins, but how does that work if Black Wally is supposedly the son of Iris' brother Rudy, who ditched him and the mother. Rudy is Wally's father too. Are there two Rudys? Will Rebirth make it so Black Wally's father is a West, but not Iris' brother? Because he was the son of Iris' brother, than they would be straight cousins. Not distantly at all. Unless Rudy's not really his father and things got all jumbled when Dr. Manhattan did whatever and people forgot about Wally.
It doesn't matter. The point is that black Wally isn't a replacement for white Wally and can go on to be his own character. They will draw up a family tree or something eventually.
