I saw the movie opening night with my sister and her friend, there were maybe 3 other people in the theater besides us. It wasn't the worst thing ever but it deserved to only make like 2 million dollars all together

I saw it. I have a harsher opinion then >>82988354. If you loved Jem, it's bad, but it's also bad if you never fucking heard of Jem. The abandoned character arcs are obvious, the plot holes are enormous and the big climax could literally have been resolved by Jem asking the bad guy nicely to give her something she wouldn't care about keeping. Failing that, there was a protracted "infiltration" mission that could have been accomplished instead by walking through the front door and waving to security, who'd have no reason to stop them.

All the tension between Jem and her sisters can be summed up thusly: "You made an incredibly difficult sacrifice to save our adopted mothers home? YOU CUNT!"

The entire movie should have been the first 20-30 minutes of the movie, then they should have let the misfits take over like practically every good episode of the show ever did. The stinger with Kesha was the only part of the movie that actually got interetsing.
