Well, my story with the most hits is "PonyGirl Steps" so people seem to like that a lot. Though I'd likely choose "Nervous Anatomy 2: The Studious" since that's one of the openings to a series of stories I'm planning. Actually, And I dont say this as the only Sabrina Fan in the world, think Sabrina has a slightly higher chance to get an episode than Hope and Leah, simply because Sabrina has more spoken lines and multiple gag scenes.
That said the chances of she ever getting an episode focusing on her are stupidly low anyway.
And if I had to choose, I would actually take a Hope episode over a Sabrina one if given the chance to choose. I think Hope needs the focus more and I really want to learn about her.

I have to say that you might wanna start with the first pony girl story "PonyGirl Taunts" to see if the taste of a magical flying pony head becoming a short, plump, dark skinned girl with a large butt is to your liking. Honestly I feel like Sabrina won't get an ep, because they already have a niche for her to fill, she's the girl that says 3 words and then gets hurt. That's literally all she did in season 1. Hope on the other hand is a blank slate who hangs out in Jannas inner circle. I think that with her connection to Janna she'll get more screentime by default as it appears Janna is going to become a major player down the road.

I think so, but I'm obviously bias. Like most shows the first few episodes are little slow to start but as they build up you can see what the series is really like. Fun times, a little continuity mixed with episodic adventures. So it does pay to watch them in a row if that's something you care about.

-First few episodes are generally cringey, aura of the show doesn't learn to channel its energy into a more stable way until later

Well the show is not amazing or anything but its fairly entertaining and fun.
The characters are interesting and likeable, I can safely praise the relation and dynamic of the two main characters as one of the best in cartoons, they bounce of each other really well and stand more or less on equal grounds in terms of importance.
Animation quality varies a lot specially since they changed animation studios as the series went on, but for the most part the animation is very colorful bouncy and energetic, again nothing amazing but its appealing enough IMO.
The show makes great use of music, Not in the Steven Universe "lets sing now" way mind you, but I think every single episode has original background music made specifically for it and I dont think a single piece of music is reused between episodes, You may find yourself hating the intro song tho, but it grows on ya!
As far as the plot, you wont find any of that deep lore stuff that you would expect from shows like Gravity Falls or Steven Universe at all, Star VS focuses more in the characters interacting with each other and facing a self conclusive problem of the day and while there ARE some hints at lore and development of a deeper plot, its hardly the main focus of the show, but the show does have a pretty good sense of continuity and you can even notice how th characters develop across the series, its pretty neat.
Just be warned that many consider the first few episodes to be the weakests of the series, so bear that in mind if you decide to watch.
In the end, not an amazing or deep show, but its fun, lighthearted and can be genuinelly funny. Also Season 1 is only 13 episodes long so you can marathon it in no time!

I finally caught up with the thread — and discovered that, among others, I completely missed Zehntacles.
Zehn, if you're reading this at a later time, and you are interested in reading something from me, I'd like to suggest "The Nudist Saga" (http://pastebin.com/0Md3nRgb). Despite it being my most popular fic, I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's my best one: it's the only NSFW I wrote, the lewdest one — which is to say, not very much lewd at all.
The reason why I'm suggesting this read is that I'm quite fond of it, purely from nostalgic reasons: it's actually a collection of greentexts, chanined together in a continuous story. Every chapter was inspired by prompts coming from Anons, and apart from the very last chapters, they were all posted here on /sveg/: it reminds me of a time when janitor controls here were a little more lax — and we rapscallions abused the heck out of that, posting super-long fics, and very naughty material. And yeah, the collaborative nature of that fic makes it very endearing to me — and to this day I thank everybody who collaborated to it, and who encouraged me to write it.
…I'm still sorry about the prompts that I didn't use, but I couldn't keep on writing it forever!
