I always figured just recreating an experiment or stealing a power or something would be easy if you get thrown into the past of comics.
I mean getting spider powers sure does seem pretty easy to me. Just find a way to get an irradiated spider to bite you.

I would just do what The Hood did and use my knowledge of what and where the Infinity Gems are, spend all my resources getting one, then use it to get the rest.
