Technically, Gotham Academy is getting renamed and (presumably) getting a #1 sometime in September. But, as far as we can tell, it won't have any links to what goes on in the DCU Rebirth Special or be tied to the ongoing aspects of what "Rebirth" means for the DCU.
Earth 2 will apparently be the same. I don't know if it's getting renamed or renumbered (it's solicited up to at least July still as "Earth 2: Society"). But it will apparently be unaffected by Rebirth, as well -- presumably until the JSA stuff happens that Johns and co. implied would come.

I don't understand why they are bringing back Pre-Flashpoint Superman as the main Superman of this universe. He doesn't know all these people, he doesn't have memories with them. They have to build his relationship with them from zero again.

I'm confident that Williamson will make Flash a respectable book again. One aspect that I've liked about his work is that he sets up his narratives in intriguing ways -- Ghosted approached spookiness via crime; Birthright jumps back and forth in time. While the whole "multiple speedsters" aspect sounds kind of dumb, I think he'll make it work. Because more than anything, he's been getting better as a writer with each series he's been on.
In terms of art, it feels like Di Giandomenico's pencils work best in context. But he does have his moments of pure awesomeness (pic related), which is probably why Williamson is OK with using him.
And of course, going back to Williamson, the fact that he's a big Flash nerd (and DC fanboy in general) is a HUGE boon for making me like him. Because hey, at least he's not Venditti and Van Jensen.

This shitty new Superman suit is the main reason I think this is a stealth farewell to pre-Flashpoint Superman and new 52 Superman will be back active eventually. Like they'll have the old one mentor him for a while and then pass the name back after he's learned to be a "real" Superman or something to appease everyone. I'm a third party who thinks a shirt and pants look is fantastic for Superman. Preferably a costume with that vibe instead of regular old shirt and pants.
