Almost no character arcs were resolved and the ones that were were lazy as shit.
They had a fucking filler clip episode that could of been used for literaly any thing else

No. Just no. The start of that season is completely retarded, or perhaps convenient. "oh, it just happens that some people got airbending just because and the main villain just Happens to know everything about airbending, even training its movements for no reason".
And it gets worst; Zaheer's motivations doesn't make any sense. It's "chaos will help everyone somehow" and that's it. There are some bad/forced conclusions, like Tenzin conveniently being let to live, and Bolin learning lavabending from nothing.
Change may be better than S02, perhaps even S01/S04. But it's far from ATLA.

Air was definately better than Balance, atleast Air was good for 4 episodes.
And Change was probably better than water and worse than Fire.
