What are /co/'s favorite underrated runs on a cape book?

Pic related. I like Milligan's run even more than Morrisons. Delano's is great as well.

WML Flash is an easy one I guess, but a lot of people just skip to Waid
>>
Wonder Woman that isnt the commonly recommended Rucka/Perez/Azarello. The majority of her books are absolutely excellent, if not entertaining. Remember when she worked at Taco Bell?

Does it matter if one person practically wrote the entire thing? STARMAN from James Robinson. Including all the direct tie-ins which are collected in the Omnibus'.

This, Baron's run is good as well, and I find both essential to experience Wally's growth as a character and a person.

Baron is underrated in general

Chuck Dixon's Punisher is legit one of the best cape runs of the 90s.

War Journal, War Zone, The Punisher?
I quite like Garth Ennis' THE PUNISHER Max run.

maggin's superman

Ed Brubaker's run on Tom Strong

He worked on all three books. Once Baron left Vanilla Frank and Potts left Frank Journal they used a revolving door creative staff across the multiple titles. Dixon was the guy they used the most during that period by far. He several dozens issues in total with the character.

Agree with all these, highly underrated runs. I also think miller's Swamp thing doesn't get the recognition it deserves, personally I think it's much better than BKVs and Snyders . A lot of windstorm stuff is heavily underrated too, Ellis' Stormwatch, Ennis' Kev, Brubaker's Sleeper and Casey's Wildcats. Also, Milligan's early 90s Batman stuff is better than Morrisons run in my opinion .

I don't think Starman is underrated considering its pretty much the only book but Robinson people know and it's pretty well regarded in the Vertigo canon.

>pretty well regarded in the Vertigo canon
Starman was never a Vertigo title. You're confusing it with Sandman or Sandman Mystery Theatre

I've got a soft spot in my heart for Canigher's run, formulaic as it could get.

Yes they are. It was a regular DC Comic.
>>
Bob Haney's Batman in The Brave and the Bold
>>
Alan Moore's Supreme is absolutely brilliant. One of the best Superman runs of all time.
>>
Also, I really like the Alan Grant & Norm Breyfogle run on Detective Comics and Batman.
