She calls herself Ruby Thursday.
Somebody presented this to an editor and the editor was like "Sure, why not".
Her teammates are a man who has a (partially, I guess) shrunken skeleton, a gorilla with the head of a man and a failed wizard who has been reduced to a head mounted on a mechanical, spider-like body.
And what do they call themselves, you think?

You should really check out the books she's in. It's less of a genre savvy in that she plays with comic book tropes, and more that she reacts based on specific behavior patterns and expectations. She's all tied up with these ideas of identity and, well, Absence. There's just this very Hermetic vibe to her, especially near the end of her arc; I think she'd fit in pretty well in Batwoman or something.
Although maybe the best possible Absence story can only be told by not doing it at all.

Doomsday has literally no character whatsoever. He's Hulk if he wasn't like Hulk at all; doesn't get stronger with anger, loves killing, isn't sympathetic, doesn't have a simiilar design, doesn't transform. Only similarity is breaking stuff.

The Great 10 are portrayed as good guys, not villains, so any "fear" elements are just being projected on them. The only thing "bad" attached to them is the fact that they're under the thumb of government bureaucracy, but that's not their fault.
