As an armature artist it's pretty insulting to see stuff like this get published. It really isn't hard to put a little more effort into it,and my edit isn't even great. The artist in Op should be a layout artist, not an art director.

Tangentially, a lot more frequently, artists are getting work as of late whose pin-up work is pretty good but whose sequential art is absolutely terrible... I really don't want to presume some of these kinds of artists are getting work based on portfolios of profiles alone, but that's honestly what it feels like sometimes.
