You think Weiss and Emerald Weiss and her problems seem so much less extreme compared to how Emerald. I've been trying to figure out for a while why those two got put together as rivals but it's making a lot more sense now.

Yang enjoys fighting and beats people up without provocation but is mostly non lethal, Merc is the same but is an assassin that's killed people.
Yang's mother ran out on her and is aloof and indifferent, saving her once and then leaving her to get crippled by Adam. Merc's father actively abused him and beat the shit out of him.
Yang lost one arm to Mercury's two legs.
Yang is angry and disillusioned after getting a violent wake up call from the world, but isn't at the point where she's completely sociopathic and wants it all to burn like Merc does.

Cinder wanted to be powerful and feared. She stole the Fall Maiden's power a legendary unnatural power. and immediately gets full access to it.
Ruby will be powerful in the future, and the Grimm will fear her. She uses the Silver Eyed warrior power, another legendary unnatural power that she legitmately inherited from her mother, but has to develop naturally.
Ruby has some minor difficulties as a kid because Summer died (but being a hero) but had a good childhood despite it.
Cinder assuming she's following the tale of Cinderella, was probably abused as a kid to, which also follows the pattern of Em and Merc being so screwed by the world they care nothing for it and want it to burn , which is why they're so ok with helping Salem ruin it.

Here's the thing right, there is a right way and a wrong way of handling how you merchandise and promote your brand.
The way in which RT does it is by strong arming and pretty much telling people who can't afford to sub to them to fuck off and not come back, it promotes a hostile nature in the community and the lash back / blind defense of the whole week delay shows how bad of a move and damaging it was to RT's reputation.
I know you need shit like money and that to pay people for jobs, no shit on that part. But the issue is RT handles it the wrong way , they promote terrible business ethic and reasoning for why they do these things.
"we felt like sponsors weren't getting enough out of it" then give them fucking discounts or something, don't just go "oh we'll jack up the delay by a full week, that'll make'em feel good!" That divides a community.
If I had to handle it, if im going to delay my series, i'd do it by 6 hours or some shit like that, the old system. Reserve sponsor content for non-critical shit like BTS shorts or some shit like that. The community should not have to suffer because some teenage cunts complained about not feeling entitled enough.
RT in recent months have also dropped in terms of quality, a lot of their series are incredibly bland and Red V Blue has dropped like a fucking cannonball in the ocean, they sunk it big time.

For the me the biggest frustration has definitely been the merchandising. High shipping costs, slow processing time unless you pay out your ass for the "expedited" shipping, pretty poor merch selection in general, and general odd tone with their choices.
Like, ok the T-Shirts and clothing that's more or less taken care of, gotta get those memes printed and whatnot. But they have to know with them becoming popular in Japan that there is a wider market/variety for merch now.
