I'm not hating on Bob's Burgers but given it's general lack of unrealistic elements, what's the benefit of it being animated rather than live-action?

Real kids wouldn't be voiced by Kristen Schaal.
Animated looks better?

I've never been grossed out by a non-landwhale's tits this much.

No child actors.

Certain unrealistic elements/fantasy sequences.
Also they can reuse actors for different characters.
Cartoon children don't grow up.

Because there are some unrealistic elements that's a hard sell in live action but with animation everything fits together more easily.
So you can have a rampaging mechanical shark and a musical number and dream sequences about a crossdressing bull and never have any awkward beats in between.
They don't have to pay the actors squat, and they can replace them and nobody will notice the do-diddly-ifference.
Bob's should definitely be animated (va's are way better at delivering lines than your average sitcom star).
what makes me laugh is how well animated the show is. probably the highest quality animation for any show in the world.

A lot of the characters personality comes from their actors and the actors look nothing like their characters in real life.

I think the things Bob's Burgers do would be very boring for live-action, and I love Bob's Burgers
