Really interesting, we see Raimi doing things that take a lot of power, so I think he's the strongest, but Andrew seems faster more spidey way of fighting and from I can get, he has this huge tolerance to pain( he got so wrecked against Electro) but still managed to keep going. Which makes this fight prett hard

Now Andrew and Holland you know they seen pretty even at the strenght but Joe Russo is such a spideyfag that in an interview he said that Spidey is weaker than the Hulk but by a minimal margin, so who knows what the potencial of Holland but Andrew, like I said before, he has this huge stamina and tolerance so if they fight it might be like a Cap vs Batman scenario when at the end Cap wins because stamina
>>
Peter Maguire seemed to endure fights that were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more brutal than what Peter Garfield had to go through. Also, his displays of strength were incredible, and didn't seem to lack much speed, although Garfield was maybe a bit faster.

I'd go with Maguire all the way.

I hope not. There's no way they would have been able to pull that without it being retarded
>yes, I know what Spiderverse is
Also, there's no way it's going to happen with the current state of things.

The only way I see either of those two reprising their Spiderman role is making Tobey Maguire old Peter Parker in a Spidergirl movie. He'd need some aging, sure, but:

I wouldn't be opposed to a Phase 5 "Spider-Men" film that involves Maguire, Garfield and Holland teaming up. Holland's Peter is still completely green and unsure about what the future holds and is constantly awe-struck by his older selves and showing off to them, Garfield is in the full swing of things as Spider-Man but depressed after the events of ASM2, and Maguire is a wizened punished Parker who's had some serious shit happen to him in-between Spider-man 3 and Spider-Men. Holland's arc is about realizing the full impact of what being Spider-Man could mean for his life and accepting that, Garfield's is about fearing the future and moving on from the past (he gets over Gwen's death at the end of the movie and returns to his world to see if he can find his world's Mary Jane) and Maguire's arc is about refinding the spark that made him love being Spider-Man and going back to fix his life that fell apart.

They all get sucked into Holland's MCU verse for the length of the storyline, no idea who the best villain for them would be. Maguire's Peter keeps hinting at the other two about a lot of 616 Spider-Man storylines, implying versions of those events have played out for him such as the Clone Saga and Superior Spider-Man.

The ultimate point of the film is to pass the torch on to Holland, and give a full sense of closure to the Maguire and Garfield worlds and foreshadow some of the comic storylines and arcs that Holland's films will be adapting.

Keep the tone light, and lay down the fan service, and it'd be spectacular.

Peter is a smart guy. He'll figure out pretty quick that Garfield's shooters are mechanisms and he'll either try and make him run out, break them, web them shut or short them out somehow.

Which Spider-Man? Garfield's version. He's shown to be way more agile, stronger, and creative in his fights, not to mention he actually cracks wise the way Spider-Man is supposed to.

Damnit I loved Amazing Spider-Man 2. I wanted that series to continue.

Fuck.
>>
>>82467973
>>82468025

Maguire Spidey is really a brawler. He knows how to use his agility and strength well. He'd beat the shit out of Andrew if he got his hands on him.

Andrew relied mostly on his webs and using other objects.
>>
>>82468586
yeah, there was a cut released with extra footage, like a slight extension to the train fight scene and all that.
>>
>>82468665
I'm sorry, but I don't ever really see his super-strength or quick reflexes on display in the Maguire Spider-Man movies.

Whereas in Amazing, Garfield's Spider-Man is all over the place, constantly leaping around and on the move, taking full advantage of his agility.

Plus there's that scene in Amazing-2 where he saves a half-dozen people from Electro, with only one functional webshooter at the time, *and* catches a police car like it's no big thing.

Sorry, but no. Amazing Spider-Man just comes across as better than Maguire Spider Man.

Hence the title.

Add in the fact that he actually wisecracks like he's supposed to, and a far better score, and yeah. I just massively prefer Amazing and Amazing-2 to any of the Maguire movies. Spider-Man 2 was pretty good but mostly because of Mr. Doc Ock Freeze, not Spider-Man.

Oh, yeah, forgot the train. Then again, like I said, Garfield Spider-Man caught a police car like it was nothing; the hardest part seemed to be holding it right so that it wouldn't break due to its own weight.

Still prefer the fights Garfield did.

>>82468893
Electro's essentially a god, so I don't see why Garfied not being able to beat him really matters. It's not like Maguire was able to actually defeat Sandman, after all.

>How will making wisecracks help him fight Maguire man

The audience will like him more because he's actually acting like Spider-Man. Never underestimate the power of plot armor, sempai.

Well at this point it makes sense for her to be old considering peter is in his late 20's early 30's, I imagine if they did a younger Peter story she would be retconned as younger. Which brings up the question is she younger in the spidey book?
>>
>>82469262
Basically Maguire Spider-Man seems more like a straight-up brawler. His goal is to get in close and just punch like a boxer or something. Effective, but crude.

Whereas Garfield Spider-Man moves like, well, a spider. He hops around, uses his webs to trip you up, etc. He's got the same raw strength but on top of that is better at avoiding blows and getting the opponents to trip up over themselves.

Side note, how the Hell could Ock in those fights even go as many rounds with Spidey as he did? Once you get past the arms he's just a normal human. One punch should have knocked him out.

It's never stated directly that he was; and there's no reason to think that Garfield isn't holding back as well. Strength VS Strength isn't going to get us anywhere because of that, so it's better to look at the rest of their fighting qualities.

Garfied was just more agile. This is mostly due to better CGI, but in the end that still makes him more agile.

At least Maguire fans have spiderman 1 and 2

All the amazing series has to show for it's self is an eh origin story and a schizophrenic mess.

Even a piece of shit spiderman 3 commits to going off the rails so hard it enters so bad it's good territory.

This scene is so fucking KINO

>All those cranes conveniently aligned along an entire street
>The perfect coordination of this bunch of drunken workers in the middle of the night
>The chopper lighting Spidey and then indicating the course like it's a fucking show
>The exaggeratedly inspirational music
>The idea that without those cranes Spidey couldn't swing to the building without hurting himself

I'm so glad you're not a writer and that this won't happen. Easiest way to fuck up a shared universe and make it too confusing for general audiences is to introduce new storylines, clones, or alternate universes. And this would feel like it was doing all three.

They already have passed the torch to Holland. We do not need to see Garfield again, or Toby again.

Putting aside all emotion and fanboyism and looking at this purely from a logical point of view, it's pretty much undeniable that the fight would quickly deteriorate into nude oil wrestling followed by passionate gay sex.

>his super-strength
Catches a sky-car filled with people in SM1. Stops a train in SM2.
>quick reflexes
Dodges Goblin's razor boomerang things like the fucking matrix. Dodges the glider.
>actually wisecracks like he's supposed to
Tobey does wisecrack, they just aren't very funny, which is consistent with early Spider-man comics where every joke he makes is extremely lame. Other than the one scene in ASM where he stops the carjacker, Garfield doesn't make a whole lot of good jokes in the ASM series. His jokes are generally on about the same level as Maguire's: mildly amusing but mostly just dumb. It's like the studio added that one carjacker scene in to stop fans complaining and then went right back to the same approach.
>a far better score
Implying that James Horner's generic score (which I can't even remember if I try) comes anywhere close to based Danny Elfman. Unless you're referencing the laughable collaboration between Hans Zimmer and Pharrell Williams, which included cringeworthy dubstep and rappers whispering over the track.
>implying any fight scene in ASM comes close to the creativity and excitement of the train fight in SM2

Sure there are a couple great scenes in the Webb films, but they come nowhere close to the quality of Raimi's first two.

Spider-Man 3 is terrible, but at least its fun. ASM2 is just head-scratchingly bad. I'm not laughing at how bad it is, I'm just confused as to what I'm watching. I still have no idea what Harry's problem was.
>"Give me your blood Spider-Man!"
>"No it might kill or deform you!"
>Later injects Spider-serum. Gets deformed and nearly dies.
>Blames Spider-man for not giving him access to the serum earlier.

.....why does he hate Spider-Man for trying to save his life and being absolutely right all along?
At least Spider-Man was actually an asshole to Eddie Brock.
