I'm still sort of hellbent on animating this particular song into an animated short film, almost obsessive like even.
Though I'm starting to second guess myself in spots. It's not exactly "on model", and I was aiming for a Startoon's-ish look, or something that at least resembles the source material.
I'm also feeling the animation's a little stiff to start, (mostly due to trying to comprehend underlying construction), any tips to loosen up? or give it a more "cartoon" feel?

Looks great to me so far.
What song?

"Where the boys are."

Not bad. Now do three seconds worth of drawings and see if you can keep the quality.
Looks adorable, but I think I need an animated preview to judge or give any advice.

Was Tiny Toons on 12fps or 24fps though?

and I'll be getting there next. It requires a lot of patience, but I'll be sure to post a sample when i get there.

Whatever it is keep going!

The model looks fine. Just make sure the actual movement is alright.
Make sure to have her be sitting in a french cafe drinking wine and eating something french when she's not singing. That would be perfect.
