/biz/-core comics and cartoons?
Richie Rich is just obvious.

Reminder that there was a cartoon.

I miss the days when FRBNY was part of the big 3. They were outselling DC at one point I believe.

On the /a/ side, Bakuman
Literally every plot point involves making a cool chapter of manga to avoid cancellation and subsequent firing
>>82442225
>/a/
That's cool, too. If anybody knows manga/anime with those themes then I'd be interested in that as well.
>>82442361
Waifuposting aside, Spice and Wolf's primary focus was actually on late-medieval economics.
Ushijima the Loan Shark. No idea if there's a scanlation or not. But this shit is violent as fuck. Really nasty story about a loan shark fucking people up.
What qualifies as /biz/-core?
>>82441025
The first pic is bs. As far as we know there was no
trading in cavemen times.
>>82443208
Business/economics/finance kinda shit. MONEY. Bankers and loan sharks and businessmen and shit like that in office buildings and other similar settings trading and selling and buying and getting rich and losing their shirts.
Scrooge McDuck of course being the ultimate heroic cash raker.
>>82443271
How would we even know? They didn't really have any writing back then for us to find.
>>82443172
Misappropriation Investigator Nakabo Rintaro is pretty good too
>>82441758
Got a recommended reading list?
Tokumei Kakarichō Tadano Hitoshi. Basically Japanese "salarymen" being lowlives and LOTS of nekkid chink hoes.
No translations unfortunately. The TV show is easier to find.
>>82443324
I don't know how they found that out. I guess weapons made by the same person never traveled far and they put them into the grave of the owner. Also you can look how simple cultures do it today. Everyone can do everything and makes his own shit.
>>82443374
>Misappropriation Investigator Nakabo Rintaro
Looks interesting.
Salaryman Kintarō
There's a manga, anime, movie, and even fucking merchandise. Apparently pretty popular.
And actually well done, too.
The manga is translated, but only in digital form. Probably hard to find full translations, but it's quality shit and worth reading.
The manga also has a sequel.
Minami no Teiō
Ludicrously popular in Japan, but appears to be hard to find info on it or proper translations.

Too unrealistic, dropped
Kachō Kōsaku Shima is probably the single most /biz/ thing in any media. Nigga has about a million volumes including sequels out the ass, adaptations, and a SNES game. Some of it was apparently officially translated, but I don't think any of those have been scanned. I'm not sure if there are ever scanlations.
Bus Gamer is basically Battle Royale meets corporate Japan. Totally unrealistic, but decent-ish (maybe) in quality. Only has like 1 volume and was never really finished as I understand it.
>>82444387
Wow those designs are straight-up late 90s anime, it's like a darker Rave Master
Billionaire Girl probably counts despite having jack all to do with actual /biz/ shit just purely on the basis of the main character.
>>82443992>merchant
>happy
Kurosagi revolves heavily around financial fraud.
>>82440437
My niggah I love me some richie
Destro is pretty much the ultimate /biz/ villain.

Grant Morrison's run on The Story of Checks is amazing, it did for banking comics what Watchmen did for superhero comics.

Why is Kenshiro working in a bank?
