Guys, I have a massive collection of comics. Except I almost never read any of them.
I'm really afraid of damaging them. I still buy them and would consider myself a fan, but I almost never read them because I don't want to damage them.
A lot of time and money is spent getting replacements.
How do I stop being such a lazy autist and actually start reading some of them? I'm starting to feel like the posers I hate.

Action Comics #1 is not only historically significant, but it was printed on cheaper material than modern comics, so copies deteriorate faster, especially if read multiple times, and really only character introduction issues have any long-term value
can you honestly say there's been a new character in the past 10 or so years that has the same cultural impact as Superman, Batman, or even fucking Deadpool
