This is me. Literally me. No other character can come close to relating to me like this. There is no way you can convince me this is not me. This character could not possibly be anymore me. It’s me, and nobody can convince me otherwise. If anyone approached me on the topic of this not possibly being me, then I immediately shut them down with overwhelming evidence that this character is me. This character is me, it is indisputable. Why anyone would try to argue that this character is not me is beyond me. If you held two pictures of me and this character side by side, you’d see no difference. I can safely look at this character every day and say “Yup, that’s me”. I can practically see this character every time I look at myself in the mirror. I go outside and people stop me to comment how similar I look and act to this character. I chuckle softly as I’m assured everyday this character is me in every way. I can smile each time I get out of bed every morning knowing that I’ve found my identity with this character and I know my place in this world. It’s really quite funny how similar this character is to me, it’s almost like we’re identical twins. When I first saw this character, I had an existential crisis. What if this character was the real me and I was the fictional being. What if this character actual became aware of my existence? Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?

I would honestly follow a Dayman/Nightman comic series, but only if the Dayman they use is Charlie in OP's picture and not Dennis. I'd also like them to do more with Nightman's costume.
My only problem is I want to see Mac as Nightman, but Mac was never meant to be Nightman. This is something I've wanted to talk about for a while. Who is Nightman based on? In the episode The Nightman Cometh, Charlie says Dennis was originally supposed to play the Nightman, however the only reason Charlie gives is that it would be weird if Dennis and Dee have to kiss in the play. Could there be an other reason? I'm pretty sure Dennis never paid a troll to rape Charlie in the night... Dennis wouldn't want to fuck Charlie, and I think Frank cares too much about Charlie to do something like that to him. If anything Charlie just wrote Dennis as the villain/antagonist of the play because he was still mad at Dennis for banging the Waitress.
If Dennis is not the inspiration for the Nightman, that only leaves one other person it could be: Uncle Jack. In multiple episodes Charlie is visibly uncomfortable around his Uncle Jack. In The Great Recession Charlie finds himself homeless and tries to move back home. His mom suggests Charlie be roommates with Uncle Jack who is now living with Charlie's mom.

As for who the Troll is, it could only be based on his Mom who I believe Charlie secretly blames for allowing him to have been in a situation where his Uncle Jack was able to molest him as a child. Charlie's mom is an alcoholic and was a prostitute so there's a good chance she was not the most attentive or protective mother. She could have been servicing a customer or blacked out drunk on countless nights leaving good old Uncle Jack to show up and "share the room" with Charlie.
