As someone that isn't a Marveldrone, I legitimately don't understand the hate for the Thor movies. They're competent unlike Incredible Hulk, they aren't cluster fucks like Iron Man 2 or AoU and they're the only movies where Loki aka MCU's only worthwhile villain has a character.
Honestly, in terms of overall quality, they're on par with First Avenger which gets jacked off to constantly on here even with that weak 3rd act.

waititi is fucking amazing but sir not acting in this film needs someone to hold his hand for every shot, I think. I hope it works out; thor is a great character and the first two didn't do his stuff justice.
I was a bit unenthused about Hulk joining, but the additions or Valkyrie and Hela as well as Jane being gone have me way more hyped about this.

I liked Thor II over Age of Ultron. Easily. I also liked it more than Iron Man III. Thor I was sort of saggy and miserable.
