Yeah they sent more alpha invites last week and I got one. It's definitely more interesting than I thought. Having five lanes to defend (with only three of them actual Dofus) really expands the strategy beyond just playing cards and dealing damage to the opponent. I like that even destroying an empty shell gives you benefits (you can summon one space farther for each fake Dofus you break, and when a summon reaches the end of a lane it returns under your deck IIRC), so even if you guess wrong you're making tangible progress. And so far each god really plays differently. They have god-specific cards that can only be used in a deck of that god, and generic cards. Ecaflip has several cards with random effects, Sacrier gains bonuses when her summons are wounded and she can damage her own Dofus to gain benefits, Cra has lots of archers and targeted-damage spells, etc.
It's not the kind of game I would get very invested in in the long run, but I'm pleasantly surprised and I hope it does well.

Goultard gives it to the player character in the gamebook Les Vents d'émeraude, but by the time of Wakfu I don't know who might have it in their possession.
As for Krosmaga invites, you can sign up on the game's page at the bottom, but currently the English translation is more of a placeholder and the card effects are outdated or outright missing. Doesn't hurt to sign up early though, by the time of the beta they might start keeping the translations up to date.
There's no NDA though and people have started to put videos of the game on YouTube if you're curious.

Ankama's handling of KrosQuest and the English dub has alienated them from my loyalty.
I liked the OVAs but at this stage it's actually a massive waste of time to support them. They like your money but they fuck around pointlessly and waste your time. Both things I backed went YEARS overdue. One in particular was delayed on a whim with the actual product being confirmed by the ship company -with photos on their FB- but arbitrarily with held for another year and a bit.
I like their shows and I intend to watch them but FUCK the company. I hope the staff who work on the show are happy with adulations but I can't justify giving another cent to them.
