She didn't really learn as a person aside from maybe "don't be so quick to judge a person" with the whole rose thing. Went from thinking she was great to thinking she was an idiot to thinking she was great to being in love with her to having problems with her drinking to things being just fine.
She was always kind of levelheaded so she didn't grow as a character since she was already mature. Maybe her personal arc is learning to meddle less and just plain be more useful. From pale to red in the love department too.

Did Jane have a character arc? She was just kind of brushed off to the side and learned jack shit from what I remember.
Ok, I know I'm repeating myself here, but this is why I think Act 7 was so disappointing.
Homestuck used to be about SBURB. Between Act 5 and early Act 6 it became a story about interpersonal relationships/conflict as well as personal growth, as SBURB faded into the background.
And that coud have been fine! No, really. It could have been.
But there ended up being no resolution and no payoff to the new interpersonal aspects of the story, new aspects that had been built up for all of A5A1 and most of Act 6 (literally the second half of HS).
Because in the very last moments Hussie swapped back to the ending he presumably had in mind at the start. And this ending was meant for a story about SBURB, for Acts 1-4 Homestuck. Not for Acts 5-6 Homestuck.
Suddenly, the comic violently drops back to its root: beating the game, beating the villain, getting the reward. It casually ignores everything brought up between Hivebent and Game Over.
And this makes A5A1 and late Act 6 painful to read or even think about as a consequence. They had hijacked the story, abruptly altered its tone.
Interpersonal conflict, without identity crises, romatic drama, serious looks at abusive relationships, redemption arcs, character insecurities. We loved these things, we hated them, and now they didn't even matter in the first place, because apparently, zll that mattered in the end was the main villain being defeated, the game being won, a new universe being created, and characters living happily ever after.
Everything feels like a colossal waste of time. That's why we're all so pissed off.

It's a real damn shame the comic couldn't support all the threads it picked up along its run. Homestuck is a series of really interesting fun ideas in a great setting that slowly picks up more and more ideas and collapses under its own weight.
