So the more I watch this TMNT show, the more I realise how it just doesn't work and I think a big reason why is that everyone working on it seems to be in disagreement. Obciously they wanted to make something good but it doesn't work if it's being yanked in different directions.
Does want an ongoing storyline? Does it want to mostly be standalone episodes? Does it want to be a goofy comedy? Does it want to be a bit dark? Does it want to be like the Fred Wolf cartoon? Does it want to be like Mirage? Does it want to be it's own thing?
At this point I'm honestly more interested in what Michael Bay's crew are up to...

Then they replaced all the writers and it's been all over the place. They have some great episodes, but also a shitload of boring ones. Leo and Raph are fine, but Donnie and Mikey are annoying. Don't even get me started on the blatant favoritism to the 80's show and how obnoxious Casey is.

Actually the 2003 series has served as a great source of inspiration in recent years, so I have no worries there.
