It'd be much easier to get away with on a face that was low on detail to begin with, which is kinda why it works in anime style in the first place.

Zarei's eyes fit with Patchworm's style and colors perfectly and unless you're Zack or know something Zack said then you can't say what's not possible. And he never said what I'm thinking isn't possible. Plus Pathchworm seems to be Zarei's main spirit meaning she isn't possessed by another one or else she'd be talking to both or her medium spirit which she's close with.
She has Patchworm's glasses on all the time so the appearance of Patchworm has extended to her eyes. Simple. It's more reasonable than a leaking medium which like the other guy said should probably spread to her Hijab or if we'd see it on other mediums like Spender. It would also be different for Zarei to try and control 3 spirits at once when she tried to revive the train.

I provided more evidence and it would be silly for Patchworm and Zarei to have the exact same situation. I was going to say that but thought it might be redundant.
She would probably be talking to her medium spirit instead of her glasses spirit because she's closer to the medium, or would be talking to both. And I haven't seen any evidence to show mediums leak onto nearby objects. Plus the glasses are clearly Patchworm's so another spirit likely would not be able to influence it even if medium leakage were possible.
