He's pretty cool, having continuity is the best decision south park made

SHUT THE FUCK UP LESILE
>>
>>81999231
Not gonna lie; probably the best character introduced in newer seasons. It's not gonna be worn out soon either since the current culture war is gonna go on for a while.
>>
Having him be the hero of season nineteen was a legit great plot twist. I honestly didn't see it coming, and it made perfect narrative sense. Great character, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in October.
>>
>>81999231
You PC bruh?
>>
>>81999400
yuh bruh u?
>>
>>81999231
Fucking love him. My favourite part of how he's so super-progressive is that he's a white male.

>Strong PC culture of the 90s
South Park created
>PC culture returns in 10s
PC Principal introduced

Is the show returning to it's roots in terms of mocking political correctness?
>>
He got a bit repetitive, but I liked him overall.

Disliking the story arcs and continuity though.

Season 17 was my favourite, think that they can maintain that quality if they aren't restricted by season-long arcs.
>>
>>81999231
>You still gonna break his legs, PC Principal?

I fucking loved his interactions with Jimmy
>>
I want to fuck Leslie.
>>
Don't watch SP too much but from what I've seen he seemed like a strawman.
>>
>>81999231

great.

He's great as an lampoo parody but he's shockingly legit and means well even if he is a PC SJW.

I hope they keep him on, the more making fun of PC culture the better.
>>
>>81999508
I hope so in the last few years SP was too pc itself.
>>
>>81999521
Jimmy was great in those two episodes. I love it when kids outside of the main 5 get the spotlight.
>>
>>81999591
He's definitely a parody of modern PC culture, but to the writers' credit his obnoxious behavior really does stem from a legitimate desire to help others, unlike the rest of the town who were just trying to look good. It's a nice bit of nuance.
>>
>>81999231
>helped bring Craig and Tweek together so worthy of our respect.
>>
>>82001476

And when he found out that PC had been co-opted by ads, he wages actual war on ads.
>>
>>81999591
He's not a bad dude. When he finds out that his PC fraternity is just being PC to smash puss, he tries to educate them. He honestly wants to help people.

Even Jimmy wasn't impervious to the wiles of the ad. Only PC Principal was able to stop the menace.
>>
I like that his heart is in the right place but executes his idea horrendously. It's funny too because most SJWs act like the rest of South Park in that they only do this horrendous stuff just so they can validate themselves.

But...it did work so well last season.

We are getting less epsuodes because of what? I thought T&M just want to slow down.

Complete missed opportunity to not have him say
>PUT A FUCKING SOCK IN IT
when he appears at the end to confront Leslie though. Don't know what they were thinking there desu
>>
>>82006497
HEY LESLIE, SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH
>>
>>81999521
Christ I forgot about that. Him just being so unsure what to say after telling everyone to be sensitive was the best part of that episode.

>>
If I try to get back into South Park, where should I start? It's a lot to marathon and I have already seen various scattered episodes over the years.
>>
>>82008470
With shows like this I just pick the biggest gap then everytime I see an episode I saw before I just skip.
>>
>>82006497

>HEY LESLIE SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!

Pretty great!

Mat and Trey recognize that PC culture promoted by young leftists today is just as obnoxious as the conservative soccer moms that fought South Park almost 20 years ago. But PC principal is the good guy. Political correctness has a place in our society and it's important that it isn't used to manipulate us.
>>
>>81999231
I'm glad he's sticking around. Even if he's Mr.Mackey 2.0
>>
>>81999521

The best part is that he was threatening to break the mystery student's legs. And then it turns out to be Jimmy.

>You gonna break Jimmy's legs, PC Principal?
>>
>>82006497
PUT A SOCK IN IT LESILE I'M NOT GONNA TELL YOU AGAIN
>>
>>82009379

Yeah, but Mackey hasn't been interesting since the drug episode.
>>
Garrison as the stand-in for Trump is fucking inspired. Only flaw is that the people he fucks to death aren't paying for the fucking.
>>
>>82006497
>tfw you just realized that its the reddit alien on her shirt
>>
>>82009660
I wonder if they'll just have two stand in presidents so they won't have to make a reversible election episode
That is, if they do make one. When is the next season?
>>
>>81999508
>>82001156
They backtracked on transgenderism, so I'd say they're more PC than ever.

I really liked the last season. I felt legitimately hyped at the end of every episode, something I'd never thought I'd say for south park
>>
>>82006497
HEY LESLIE, SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH.
>>
>>82009755

They already had Clinton as Garrison's opponent, though. Next season probably starts in October, like usual, and with this election being more batshit than usual, and since Trump is going to take the Republican nomination, we can all look forward to every episode up to the election, including that week's episode, being about the election.

Eh I don't think that was them backtracking or being PC. I think they just legitimately changed their minds about the issue. People can do that.

Nope, I've been watching South Park since season 3. Love it all, but genuinely liked season 17 the most. I'm sorry if that offends you enough to try and invalidate a stranger's opinion.
>>
>>82013593
It's just an exaggeration of how I feel the modern era compares to the earlier seasons. Why would you take an obviously sarcastic post literally?

I have to wonder if they rewrote or just outright had no idea where they were going with pic related.

It seemed to be pointing towards PC Principal being an unaware ad who'd then go rogue, but that just kind of fizzled out into nothing with no explanation.
