The first Scooby Doo cartoons I watched where Daphne era ones. Ones without Fred or Velma. 13 ghosts is my favorite adaptation of Scooby Doo. It's a shame it never had a finale.
I'm enjoying be cool Scooby Doo so far. It along with Steven Universe are the best shows Cartoon Network has right now. It's to bad neither of them air often.

As kids, my brother and I would joke that all the red-shirt Shaggy movies were just simulations in that computer program.
I never knew why he would still be going on these adventures without the rest of the gang because he rarely seemed to want to even with them.

Shaggy and Scooby are the real stars, Fred Velma and Daphne were all disposable/replaceable in the Scooby Doo formula. Everybody back then hated Scrappy, but execs forced him in, exec meddling also resulted in Flim-Flam, and shoehorning Daphne instead of Velma into the Red-Shirt Shaggy series', even though literally everyone thought Velma was cooler and worked better teamed with Shaggy and Scooby.
